Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Using a hand mixer, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, vanilla, and pumpkin puree in a mixing bowl.
  • Mix in the eggs and milk until well-blended.
  • Add the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice. Mix until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  • Spread the dough onto a greased half sheet cookie pan (18×13 inches) and smooth the top.

Baking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is no longer glossy and passes the toothpick test.
  • Allow the bars to cool on the pan before cutting.
