Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and prepare a large baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until soft and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla to the mixture, and beat until well combined.
  • Mix in cornstarch, baking soda, and salt until fully incorporated.
  • Gradually add the flour one cup at a time, mixing until just combined after each addition.
  • Stir in the milk chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Baking

  • Scoop out about 1/3 cup of cookie dough for large cookies and place it on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring adequate space between each scoop.
  • Bake the cookies until the edges are golden brown and the centers are still slightly soft.
  • Remove the cookies from the baking sheet and allow them to cool on a wire rack or plate.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week. Cookies can also be frozen for up to three months.
